While driving there, it was still really overcast and rainyish. Every once in a while, the sun would shine and we'd all cheer, and then it would go away again.
By the time we got there, the weather mellowed out. It was a perfect beach day. Not too hot, and not too crowded.

Tamar, Sophie, and Janessa.
We went to one of our favorite beaches, Wingearsheek in Gloucester.

Soren's inner legs were totally chafed from running around with a salty, sandy suit, so he went a' naturel under this towel for the 2nd half of the day.

Lachlan loved it! He had a great time. We stayed for about 5 1/2 hours, which is fine for teenagers, but was a little long for my boys. However, they all enjoyed it so much, that we may do it a few more times this summer.

Natsukashii!! (Japanese for feeling very nostalgic.)
I love that beach at Gloucester, I believe that is the one you took me to see an Atlantic ocean beach for the first time. Everyone looks great. It was not cold at our day at the beach. Especially when we went to Matsumotos for Shave Ice afterward,
You are look so natural at a beach--it must be where you belong! How fortunate to have one close by!
