The siding is going on. We decided on a "Hardie" siding that only needs to be painted every 25 years. Our color--Monterey Taupe. It has earth tone elements of gray, tan, and sage green. Depending on the light, it can look like different colors. It will be a nice base palette for us to accent with other colors.
They knocked out a few interior walls. Here is the breakthrough to our new living room add-on.
Work on our house has been going so fast, ever since the hotel incident. We always have 9 trucks in front of our house, and constant steams of framers, electricians, plumbers, siders, painters, and lots of bosses checking in. The impact on us--a lot messier than I thought it would be. We're moving in the right direction.
