Peak Week

For 5 weeks every year our Elementary School gets a bunch of awesome gymnastic equipment for the gymnastics unit. At the end of the unit, they invite the parents to come for what they call, "peak week."

Each of the kids get an opportunity to use the gymnastics equipment to create a "sentence" based on certain parameters, but with their own abilities and creativity taken into consideration.
Soren rocks at gymnastics. He climbs the rope like a monkey.

This was Soren's closing pose (they were supposed to create a period at the end of their gymnastic sentence).

Lachlan's favorite part is getting to run out and use the equipment after the big kids are finished with their performances.

Lachlan, J.B. and J.B.'s best friend, Teddy.

I have enjoyed reading about your family. You guys are always doing things that look fun. I think Dan and I will definitely go some of the places you have been. I just linked your blog on my blog. I hope that is okay. Let me know if not.
