The cooktop is separated from the oven. It's a high-tech piece of work that requires you to push 4 or 5 computerized buttons just to turn it on.
Ran out of money when it came to buying a new fridge that would match the other appliances, so that will happen down the road.

Truthfully, we wanted an "induction" cooktop, but it was beyond our budget for now.

But for all intents, our kitchen is finished enough to use!
Here, the handyman, and kitchen rennovator, James, looks over his work.

I'm already in love with the bar. How did we live without a bar before?

James liked the black appliances so much that he opted for a black sink.

He also surprised me with that "boiling water" tap on the right. That means hot chocolate and herbal tea at the touch of a button!
Things we love about our new kitchen:
1) A disposal that works (haven't had that for the last 8 months)
2) A dishwasher that works (we've had to duct tape ours to the cupboard in order to get it to work for the past 8 months)
3) A food pantry (never had that before)
4) The bar! There are so many reasons!
5) So much counter space.
6) So much cupboard space. We could finally bring all of our kitchen appliances out of the basement!
7) The green granite against the red cherry cabinets.

What a beautiful kitchen and a deserving mom. I hope it makes cooking so much fun. Amazing work.
So when are you coming to Tucson to remodel our garage? Seriously, I have got to get me a boiling water dispenser.
We've been waiting to see all this and now it's here. What an accomplishment, what a dream. With all the cooks in this family, you really needed this kitchen. Love it! Mom and Dad
