Cousin James' baptism and birthday celebration

In September we went to New York for a day to visit our cousins the Taylors.
This was a big day for James Taylor. He was getting baptized.
Mom, Heather, Dad, Dave, and baptisee', James.
After a lovely baptismal service, we went back to the Taylor's house for a fabulous luncheon. Dave grilled.
Dave's mom made several delectable salads and trimmed them with edible flowers and fresh herbs..
Heather let James decorate this cake himself.
And then she made these cream filled chocolate cupcakes...
mostly for Lily.
This girl LOVES chocolate!
James mentally prepares himself to blow out the candles.
James, Logan, and Janessa at the bbq.
A little backyard baseball.
Soren runs the bases.
The kids all get a chance to hit the pinata. Do you love Dave's dangerous looking pinata holder?
We left at 5:00 a.m. to get to New York. We had to return late that afternoon because I had my primary program the next morning.
The time went by so quickly! It's time for us to head home!
Bye little sister, Heather!
Bye John! Lachlan is 2 months younger than John.
Bye Taylors! Congratulations to James! We're so proud of you and we're so happy we got to be part of your baptism and celebration!

Thank you so much for posting those pictures! It looks like a really wonderful day. We are so happy for James--and happy that the cousins could get together!
