Ever since I was called as primary president, we've been having the nursery do the nativity pageant at the annual ward Christmas party. This was our 3rd year to feature the nursery. With 40+ kids in the nursery, we can always put on quite a show!
Lachlan was a shephered, and then when he saw the ears in the costume bag, he decided to become a sheep. We take a rather loose interpretation of the animals found present at the stable. Our version has been known to feature, lions, cheetahs, elephants, and any other animal costume left over from Halloween.

Too sweet! That's my little Lachlan with his finger on his lips. NOT his nose, his lips.
Every year I think, There has never been a sweeter Nativity. Something about little children and gospel truths and Christmas. It's a nice fit!

So beautiful! What a good choice to have the nursery children do that part!
